This scene is from an intro to the Julia Child cooking show on PBS. Notice how the butter box is made the center of attention in a variety of ways. First, and most obvious, is that the box is in the middle of the frame. On a more subtler note the monochromatic surroundings making the colorful box prominent combined with the background elements falling out of focus. A light is focused on the side of the butter box to accentuate the yellow glow.

Sunlight appears near a goblet and fruit. This simple technique employed a grip (a person who moves set pieces or dollies) moving a light on a rolling stand as the camera dollies by.
