On the far left is a photograph from 1957. Even though the negative
had deteriorated over the years, a high resolution scan was made from
which to work with.
In addition to restoring color fidelity and sharpness, the background
was blurred slightly so that the foreground figures would stand out.
The hand of the gentleman on the right was also manipulated.
